My slightly belated entry into the Hoodie-Time Tags Challenge. My tag was Drowning/Near Drowning, and this is summer, so, naturally, my brain immediately leaped to "falling through thin ice."

( For Dean, being tossed around by a skinwalker bear is all in a day's work. It stops being so routine when he's thrown out onto a snow covered pond with enough force to break through the thin layer of ice and plunge into the bitterly cold water beneath. )

Posted for the second Dean-focused H/C meme over at hoodie_time in answer to the prompt: Dean shot by a human in the woods, Sam needs to get them out before he bleeds to death.

I've already done messed-up Sam and awesome Dean this week, so this prompt demanded the reverse.
